QWoC Weekly Writing Workshops
Calling all Queer Writers of Color in Central Texas! Every Saturday, we will meet at 12 pm either online or in-person for writing workshops, publishing submission support and accountability, and a monthly book club!
1st and 3rd Saturdays- Join resident poet Marzetta at Birdhouse Books in Austin for biweekly writing workshops! The Queer Writers of Color group is meant to be a community space dedicated to BIPOC writers who identify as queer and/or LGBTQIA+.

I Scream Social!
It's summertime in Austin, and there's no better time to eat ice cream and celebrate literature with your favorite feminist reading series! This month, we're championing the writings of Julie Poole, Ari Kelly, Marzetta, & Austen Schreib! Presented by Host Publications, I Scream Social is a monthly feminist reading series and ice cream party that takes place at Alienated Majesty Books. We aim to celebrate and empower historically marginalized writers and share incredible literature and diverse perspectives to an Austin-area audience.
